The Children of Chernobyl Eastern Ohio Charitable Fund provides homes
(host families), and financial support and various services to these
wonderful and deserving children. Dr. Bedich offers his expertise and
services free of charge to help these children live a healthy, physically
comfortable life.
C of C statistics show that 600,000 children live in the radioactive
areas of Belarus – apart of the former USSR (Russia). Radioactive
fallout there was 90 times that caused by the atom bomb dropped on
Hiroshima in 1945. There are a number of host families in Trumbull
County and at least one in Cortland. Dr. Bedich has restored one child’s

Smiles
for Life Commitment
Each year, usually from early March to late June, Dr. Bedich participates
in a charity fundraising event called Smiles For Life. The fundraiser,
organized by the Crown Council, an international roundtable of highly
skilled dentists, uses its proceeds to fund children’s charities
locally and around the continent.
By offering whitening services at a discount and giving all the proceeds
to the Smiles for Life Foundation, he has raised thousands of dollars.
Since 1998 over $14 million has been given through this program, benefiting
nearly 300 children’s charities across North America. The SFL
foundation partners with Teammates for Kids, a foundation created by
country singer/entertainer Garth Brooks. Together they are making a
difference and giving children the gift of a smile.
The Center For Progressive Dentistry raised over
$12,000 for this charity campaign. We have chosen Tod Children's
Hospital to receive 1/2 of the funds we collected. Find out
